Each week, an outstanding owner, trainer, jockey, claiming horse and groom are honored at Del Mar. Jockey of the Week receives a 4-some of golf from Morgan Run Club & Resort. Groom of the Week is selected from the daily best based on the person's appearance and that of their horse by the paddock judge. All finalists receive a monetary prize. Owner, Trainer, and Claimer of the Week all receive complimentary gift cards to one of Del Mar's fine restaurants. |
