Jasmina was moved up from second to first with the disqualification of My Love Caroline Sunday in the 72nd edition of the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association Stakes for California-bred fillies at Del Mar.

The Padre, making only his second start in the United States, closed stoutly through the lane Sunday in the 84th edition of the La Jolla Handicap for 3-year-olds at Del Mar and proved best by a half length.

Seven fillies and mares will see who can run fastest at six panels Thursday at Del Mar in the afternoon’s allowance feature.
