Rood & Riddle Breeders' Cup Post-Position Draw Announcement to be Streamed Live on Breeders' Cup Digital Channels on Monday, October 30

The 2017 Rood & Riddle Post-Position Draw will be streamed live tomorrow, Monday, October 30 from the “Barn at the Beach” pavilion at Powerhouse Park in Del Mar beginning at 3:30 p.m. PT. All 13 Grade 1 races will be drawn and announced via a live stream on BreedersCup.com, the Breeders’ Cup Official Mobile App, Facebook Live, Periscope and YouTube Live.

The live stream will be hosted by Nick Luck and Laffit Pincay III of NBC Sports. San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer and Del Mar Mayor Terry Sinnott will be among the speakers at the draw.

The 34th Breeders’ Cup World Championships, consisting of 13 Grade 1 races with purses and awards totaling more than $28 million, will be held at the Del Mar racetrack on Friday, November 3 and Saturday, November 4. The Breeders’ Cup World Championships races will be drawn in the following order:

  2. Las Vegas Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile
  3. Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf
  4. 14 Hands Winery Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies

  6. Breeders’ Filly & Mare Sprint
  7. Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf
  8. TwinSpires Breeders’ Cup Sprint
  9. Sentient Jet Breeders’ Cup Juvenile
  10. Breeders’ Cup Mile
  11. Longines Breeders’ Cup Turf
  12. Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff
  13. Breeders’ Cup Classic
