Roger McDow goes "all-in" for lead in the Del Mar Fall Challenge

Roger McDow of Las Vegas, turned his starting bankroll of $3,500 into $15,280 in day one of the Del Mar Fall Challenge. McDow went “all-in” in race 4 with a $3,500 win bet on Guitty to vault to the lead. He receives a $2,500 cash prize for finishing on top in Day One. Contestants are playing for more than $80,000 in prizes in the two-day event.

Jonathon Kinchen of Austin, TX, is currently in second with a bankroll of $10,015. First Place takes home $25,000 including a $10,000 entry in the 2020 Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge. The top six finishers after Sunday’s races receive prizes which include cash, two entries in the 2020 Del Mar $8,000 Summer Challenge and three entries in the 2020 National Horseplayers Championship.
