John Allunario Leads Del Mar November Handicapping Challenge

 
Allunario of San Diego, CA, is leading the Del Mar November Handicapping Challenge turning his starting bankroll of $2,500 into $20,010 after Day One of the two day Challenge. For being the top finisher on Day One, he wins an entry into next summer’s Del Mar Summer Challenge, a $7,000 entry fee. Allurnario built his bankroll in race 4 with a $1,000 win bet on Defiantly plus $100 exacta.
 
 Rounding out the top three from 72 total entries is Paul Hughes from San Mateo, CA with $11,700 and his second entry $11,190.
 
Players are competing for more than $100,000 in cash and prizes. The top 5 players qualify for the $2.8 million National Handicapping Championship in January and top three win entries to the 2017 Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge at Del Mar.
