The Golden State Juvenile Fillies was run Friday, so for an encore Del Mar will present the Golden State Juvenile on Saturday. Both races are part of the $4.6 million California-bred or sired series in the state and both are at seven furlongs with $150,000 purses.

Saturday’s “Juvenile” – which has drawn nine runners – will be the local highlight of an eight-race card that will be presented in and around Day #2 of the Breeders’ Cup Championships in Kentucky. Those races – there will be nine of them Saturday – will be shown at the track on TVG, NBC Sports and NBC – just as they will around the country.

All but one of the nine stakes starters Saturday have won at least one race, but only two of them have won a stakes. They would be J. Kirk and Judy Robison’s Good With People, victorious in the six-furlong I’m Smokin Stakes at Del Mar on September 2 and Winner, Winner and Winner’s Positivity, who captured the Graduation Stakes at Del Mar on August 2.

Good With People is a homebred son of the Curlin sire Curlin to Mischief and is listed as the 5/2 favorite by morning line maker Jon White. The colt will break from Post 4 with Ricardo Gonzalez in the irons for conditioner Peter Miller.

Positivity, a bargain yearling at $20,000 is a bay colt by Paynter. He’d won his start prior to the Graduation in a straight maiden race at Santa Anita on May 22. Trainer Patrick Gallagher has secured the services of rider Drayden Van Dyke Saturday and he and his horse will come out of the #6 hole.

Here’s the full field for the stakes from the rail out with riders and odds:

Reddam Racing’s Me Likey (Heriberto Figueroa, 15-1); Brown, Jr., Klein and Lebherz’s Touchdown Brown (Tiago Pereira, 7/2); William Peeples’ Finding Silver (Edwin Maldonado, 20-1); Good With People; Litt or Solis II’s Tacoflavoredkisses (Mike Smith, 8-1); Positivity; Reddam Racing’s Play Chicken (Mario Gutierrez, 15-1); West Point Thoroughbreds’ Ascot Storm (Abel Cedillo, 4-1), and Nick Alexander’s Doc Adams (Tyler Baze, 8-1).

Touchdown Brown broke his maiden at Santa Anita on June 19 and subsequently chased Good With People home in the I’m Smokin. The gray colt by Cairo Prince tried his luck in the Grade I American Pharoah Stakes at Santa Anita most recently, but finished far back.

Tacoflavoredkisses has both a maiden tally and an allowance score on his ledger for trainer Simon Callaghan. The Distorted Humor offspring was third in the I’m Smokin, but got that allowance score at Golden Gate Fields on October 11.

First post for Del Mar’s races is at 12:30 Saturday. The first Breeders’ Cup race that day runs shortly after 9 a.m.
