Umberto Rispoli can now add a riding title to his lucrative resume as he leads all jockeys at Del Mar’s 12th Bing Crosby Season with 17 wins.

With two consecutive hat tricks on November 23 and November 24, and three overall at the seaside track, Rispoli pulled away in the final stages to overtake Del Mar’s Riding Title with a total of 17 victories over Antonio Fresu’s 14 and Mirco Demuro’s 12.

Trainer George Papaprodromou also notched his first Del Mar trainers title this fall, winning 11 races, two better than John Sadler’s 9. Papaprodromou had 33 starts and finished 52% in the money. Papaprodromou’s title at Del Mar is his first ever training title. He started training in 2003, saddling his first winner on October 29 at Santa Anita Park.

Juddemonte won the owners title for victories with four wins. Reddam Racing, LLC, Spendthrift Farm and J K Racing Stable were next with three each. The owners title for earnings goes to Susumu Fujita who captured the Grade I Breeders' Cup Classic with Forever Young.
