Please print out the step by step instructions below and use them for reference when placing your order. Be sure to read the FAQ (link) for more information on Reserved Seating, Trackside Dining Tables, sun and shade locations, and various Admission Ticket options.
Before purchasing any tickets, you should know the following important information:
Ticket Sales: Tickets may be ordered online or by phone at 858-792-4242
Reserved Seating: Reserved Seats and Trackside Tables do not include racetrack admission.
Admission Tickets: There is no need to purchase your Admission in advance as we never "sell out" of Admission. Simply pay your Admission at any of the Cash Gates when you arrive.
Opening Day Admission: Reserved seats for opening day have all been sold, but don't let that stop you from coming to Del Mar! Admission Tickets never sell out and may be purchased in advance or at the gate. Beginning July 16th, the delivery method for Opening Day Admissions purchased online will only be "Print at Home". No mail or will call options will be available. If you are unable to use "Print at Home" you can pay cash for your Admission at any of the gates when you arrive.
Concerts: Concerts begin after the last race and are free with your paid Admission. Admission never sells out, simply pay your Admission as you walk through the gate. On concert days, after the 7th race Admission will be $20.00. The concert area is standing room only – no reserved seating is available.
Order Confirmation and Delivery: All ticket orders will receive confirmation by email. Tickets can be mailed to you if time allows, held in Will Call for you to pick up when you arrive or printed at home. Be sure to bring you confirmation number as well as a photo ID to pick your tickets up.
Print at Home Tickets: Avoid the lines at Will Call by selecting "Print at Home" as your delivery option. Tickets will be sent to your email address as an Adobe attachment which you can download and print on your printer. Each ticket will print on a separate page so be sure to bring all of the pages with you to the track.
Returning Tickets: Be sure to read the Terms and Conditions on the Payment page of the Online Ticket Office.
Gift Certificates: Gift Certificates may be redeemed online or by calling the Ticket Office at 858-792-4242.

If you frequently order online you may want to establish an account. It’s not required, however it will save you some time during checkout.
- If you have an account select SIGN IN at the top of the page.
- Several event options are listed. Click on the desired event link.

- Enter the number of seats you would like. You may purchase up to 19 Reserved Seats or 4 Tables per day. Most Tables seat 4, so they would be purchased in multiples of 4. You must purchase all of the seats at the Table.
- Split Seats? If you are purchasing more than one table or more than 6 box seats per day, select YES.
- Choose the day you would like to attend from the drop down menu and click CONTINUE.

- Click the radio button in the colored box for the area in which you would like to sit. If the area you like is not shown then there are not enough seats available there to meet your request.
- You may change the event date or quantity of seats on this page in you wish using the drop down menus.
- Click CHOOSE SEATS

- Click on one of the colored squares in your chosen seating area to proceed to the seat map.
- You may change the event date or quantity of seats on this page in you wish using the drop down menus.

- Click on the colored seats to make your selection. Seats that are white or black are not available. For Restaurant Tables you must select all of the seats at the table. If you make a mistake, click the CLEAR button and reselect.
- If you would like to choose a different seating area, click on the 3D MAP and select another area. If you like, you can scroll down and click YOUR VIEW to see a picture of the approximate view to the finish line from the seating area you have selected. On the right side of the screen is a key to the restaurant table sun/shade codes
- You may change the event date or quantity of seats on this page in you wish using the drop down menus.
- Select your delivery method.
- Click ADD TO CART

- The Best Available Seats or Table locations are listed under Ticket Information.
- To see the seat locations displayed on a map select SEATMAP (this function not available during on-sale)
- Select YOUR VIEW to see a picture of the approximate view to the finish line from the seating area you have selected. (this function not available during on-sale)
- Select NEXT BEST to see another selection. Note-you can’t return to the previous selection. (this function not available during on-sale)
- Select your delivery method.
- Click ADD TO CART

- From the Payment Page you can delete any Reserved Seat, Trackside Dining Table or Admission tickets that you have selected, purchase additional tickets, or pay and complete your order. Please note-Trackside Dining Tables, once selected can not be deleted from an order.
- To add more tickets to your order, click Add More Tickets.
- Once you have selected all of your tickets, complete the delivery and credit card information.
- If you are using a Gift Certificate please enter the certificate number and click REDEEM. If you don’t use all of your Gift Certificate a new Certificate for the balance will be mailed along with your tickets.
- Please check the TERMS & CONDITIONS box after you have read them.
- Click FINALIZE ORDER
- An email confirmation of your order will be instantly sent to the address you entered.
