Del Mar Seasonal EmploymentPremier Food Services, Inc. - 2008 Employment Fair information We will be accepting applications beginning May 13, 2008 in the Plaza de Mexico for several
food service jobs. Listed below is a brief job description and qualifications for each
position.
CONCESSIONS (Must be 18 years):
Stand Worker and Stand Manager. Front line food service with some food prep.
Previous fast food and/or cafeteria experience preferred. Must be 18 years old
to serve alcoholic beverages. Pay rates for stand workers range from $8.00 to
11.03/hr. Pay rates for stand managers range from $9.18 to 13.28/hr. Limited
number of positions available for applicants who are between the ages of 16 to
18 years.
BARS (Must be 21 years):
Bartenders and Bar back. Bartenders must have 3 years experience. Bar back must
have 1-2 years experience. Must be 21 years old to work in a bar or beer stand.
Pay rates for bartenders range from $8.95 to 13.01/hr. Bar backs range from $8.00
to 9.64/hr.
WAREHOUSE (Must be 18 years):
Stocker/runner. Must be able to complete tasks assigned and willing to work hard.
Pay rates for warehouse range from $8.00 to 10.31/hr.
WAITSTAFF (Must be 18 years) and BUSSER (Must be 16 years):
Waiter and Busser. Waiters must have 2-3 years experience. Bussers
must have 1-2 years experience. Waiters must be 18 years old to serve
alcoholic beverages. Pay rates for waiters and bussers range from $8.00 to 8.77/hr.
BANQUET SERVER (Must be 18 years):
Must be trained in formal services including butler service. Must be 18 years
old to serve alcoholic beverages. 2-3 years experience. Pay rates for banquet
servers range from $8.00 to 8.77/hr.
COOK (Must be 18 years):
Various cook positions. Must have 2-3 years restaurant and/or hotel experience.
Pay rates dependent upon service position.
PREP COOK (Must be 18 years):
Must have 1-2 years restaurant and/or hotel experience. Pay rates
range from $8.00 to 10.37/hr.
UTILITY WORKER (Must be 18 years):
Operate high volume dish machine and clean kitchen facilities. Pay rates
range from $8.00 to 10.31/hr.
VAULT TELLER (Must be 18 years):
Counts and records high volume cash. Must be able to operate a 10-Key machine.
Bank teller experience preferred. Background check is required. Pay rates range
from $8.00 to 12.00/hr.
AUDITOR (Must be 18 years):
Reconcile stand, bar and restaurant sales. Light accounting & computer skills.
Pay rates range from $8.00 to 12.00/hr.
