Who has the best wiener in San Diego?

On Sunday, September 1, the "top dogs in town" will compete for the coveted title of San Diego County's fastest dachshund! The fastest 16 wiener dogs from earlier qualifying rounds will meet to determine the San Diego qualifier for the Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals.

Three races will take place on the track in front of the Winners Circle. Two semifinal races will occur after horse races 3 & 5 with the finals after horse race 7 (approximately 5:10 p.m.)

The Del Mar winner advances to the National final which determines the fastest wiener in the nation.
