HATS CONTEST
When: Wednesday, July 21, 11:30 - 3:00 pm
Where: Plaza de Mexico  Opening Day Hats Contest
Opening Day will be highlighted by the unique "One and Only Truly Fabulous Hats Contest". The wearing of hats is a tradition on Opening Day at Del Mar. Hats contest entrants will be judged on creativity and style by a panel of celebrity judges.
Sign up between 11:30 am and 3:00 pm in the Plaza de Mexico located just inside the Stretch Run entrance gates. Be sure to watch the Hats Parade at 3:00 pm.
Hats Categories:
1) Best Racing Theme
2) Funniest or Most Outrageous
3) Most Glamorous
4) Best Flowers/All Others
Bing Crosby Grand Prize:
Two Round-Trip Airline Vouchers to anywhere in U.S.

Prizes:
First place in each category-$300
(Most Glamorous category winner also receives: Diamond Boutique Gold Charm Bracelet from the Jacqueline Kennedy Collection- Retail Value: $350)
Second place in each category-$200

All Hats Contest entrants will receive two free admission passes for a future visit.
