Torrey Pines Stakes

TORREY PINES STAKES
$100,000, 3-y-o f, 1 m
JOEL ROSARIO (Third Dawn) – “Just like we wanted. The race came up perfect. At the quarter pole when it was time for her to go, she was gone. She’s a nice little filly and now she’s a stakes winner.”
ALEX SOLIS (Music Magic) – “I’m proud of her. She ran real hard today.”
GARRETT GOMEZ (Jehan) – “I had the right trip and she tried. She just wasn’t good enough today.”
JOHN SADLER (Third Dawn) -- In response to question about her wide trip: “Well, riding a 4-5 horse, Joel [Rosario] thought he’d be better going wide and not having any trouble. She finished professionally, so that worked out. I’ll give her a little time now and bring her back for the 4-year-old filly series at Santa Anita [starting with the La Brea Stakes].”
