Jeremy Plonk has been an ESPN.com horse racing contributing columnist since 2000 and is the founder and managing partner of the handicapping website Horseplayerpro.com. The former Equibase chart caller, public handicapper and simulcast television host also serves as lead researcher for NBC Sports telecasts, as well as ESPN's coverage of the Kentucky Derby. A statistical and handicapping consultant to Keeneland, Oaklawn and now Del Mar, Plonk's expertise also was tapped by ABC World News with Charles Gibson in 2007. He created the Polycapping database for Keeneland.com in 2008.
