Who had a better call of the Classic Denman or Collmus

Postby DegenerationX » Mon Nov 05, 2012 7:16 pm

So I listened to both calls of the Classic and I thought Trevor did a superior job. They have contrasting styles but Trevor's call just seems better. I can imagine though it could be hard if you are calling the race for TV and can still here the other announcers call in the background over the PA. I have noise cancelling headsets at work but they still do not do a perfect job.

I agree with you DX. Trevor's call of the Classic was super. He properly identified Game on Dude struggling while Collmus just didn't give him a call.

Great job Trevor, shows he still has it.

Agree with Trevor. One of the best in the business along with Michael Wrona.

Correct me if I'm wrong didn't Trevor call Dicky's Kid 4th at the wire? Yes I agree no one paints a picture of a race like Trevor .

Wow. That's high praise for Trevor. And well deserved.

I once had a guy post that I was the 2nd best announcer in the country. Felt great.

However his next post was "All the other announcers are tied for 1st"

I thought both Larry and Trevor did an excellent job.

I thought it went without saying that Tom Durkin is in a class by himself and is clearly number 1.

Must have been your buddy Lester.

BTW Listened to both again and Trevor's was superior. Trevor has always been my favorite.
