confidence up yet was willing to part with him as he has had so much affection for him. Totally conflicted!!!!

Another conflicted statement in Bafferts response..
"The decision to run him in this particular race was not based on a lack of soundness, but rather a lack of races available for him at higher claiming prices."

There is a 25K clm and an optional 40K in book for January 6th and a 16K on January 5th. Certainly, a sound "healthy and happy" horse with only two works in two months could have used another work into one of these races if they really were looking for higher class races, no?

Baffert did not respond to a request to share Tweebster’s veterinary records, to detail his medication history, or to explain the gap in the horse’s workout patterns.

Wouldn't respond to who's request for the information? A newspaper? A blogger? CIA? I'm sure he would respond if CHRB or stewards asked for the info.
Shoddy reporting.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

Absolutely agree....Joe Drape or someone from the NY Times demands a horses medical record?? Who cares...It is NONE of their business..

I feel confident that Bo Derek will request Veterniary records ,recent x-rays , talk with the groom and
gaps in workouts. The CHRB will cover the fatality like the latimes.

Jockey Gallyn Mitchell, from Enumclaw, injured in a spill last week at Turf Paradise, hopes to resume riding within a couple weeks, according to his wife/agent Denise Mitchell.

Mitchell fractured an ankle and his spine in a two-horse spill during the fifth race on Sunday, Dec. 23. Mitchell, aboard Mark of Mischief, was unseated when his mount fell entering the stretch, and then was clipped by an onrushing You Make Me Blue.
