Same thing as El Martillo and Solar Rocket. When they can no longer run Baffert drops them to the basement in hopes of
getting them claimed.

Why? I am not just asking because the horse lost but why on earth would you ever bet a horse at 6/5 who obviously has problems? I have found that betting races where such a horse exists offers one of the most lucrative betting opportunities that you can find.

Trainers like Baffert and Hollendorfer almost never race a horse with a break in the works. This 5yo gelding last ran on Oct. 26th and then didn't work till Nov. 23rd, and then didn't work till December 16th. Was really dead on the board even though he went off favored.
