I say bring back Jessica York, that was top level comedy watching her host a show by herself. If TVG would have had her been a host only she may have been ok. Gotta think TVG is gonna have to bring in some type of female presence.

Pam would be good for two reasons....................................

She needs the cash and She could host the late double. Handle would go up.

Did you hear about what happen to Woodbine Racing Analyst Renee Kierans? She got layed off:

Wonder if she is the next TVG female Reporter/Host/Analyst now?

This would be a perfect opportunity for her to get the job. She'll fit just fine and she's a professional too.

The last 4 words of your post eliminate her automatically.

I think TVG should just give Jessica a 10% stake in Betfair and let her fill in the salary line for whatever amount she wants.

She's professional enough. She has mucked stalls, worked with horses, done things most jockeys haven't done, let alone many other racing reporters. She knows the industry, can spot jockeys, trainers, lots of owners at a glance and know who they are.

Her cornering Talamo and asking him about dumping Ebanks (2008) was really good stuff, and a few minutes later tracked down Ebanks and cornered him also.
Both were uncomfortable about it but she plowed on. Good stuff.

If you want perfectly smooth polish, she probably isn't your girl.

Would have liked to see her question those guys.. I am all for having a reporter ask some questions to the trainers/jockeys instead of sucking up to them 100% of the time. Would like to see some of the crooks in the CA trainer colony be asked about how they fleeced their owners for 2 decades. That being said, dont think TVG is looking for any female to do anything but be able to keep the "Late Double" show going in the spring at HP.

What about the other Christina?

Christina Bossinakis from Gulfstream. How about getting her to do TVG work in the paddock for Hollywood and Del Mar.

I don't know, Ernie.

I read somewhere that only hires white men.

She might be a "little too Greek" if you catch my drift..
