TVG and Purse Money Only

They have and continue to mock this topic to death. They can't see that this protects the PLAYER

I agree with the mocking, I think the rule is absurd. There shouldnt be horses running if you cant wager upon them.

It protects the player from late scratches especially with coupled entries. It's common sense

common sense is to get rid of entries completely.

First of all it takes away the whole purse money thing only, second of all, you can get a true price on the horse you like. Plus you have another betting interest in a time when there are smaller and smaller field sizes.

Completely agree. I still stand by the fact that there shouldnt be horses EVER running that can NOT be WAGERED on. Under no circumstance is that acceptable to me.

Agree also- but the way it's now it protects the player. TVG talk about it as if their up in the sky above all the little men below them. The make fun of it- but don't can't comprehend why it's there.

How was it protecting me in Sunday's 1st race when I wagered upon the winner that was running for purse only?

that costs me the double and pick 3. why cant they postpone the race for 5 minutes? that horse would have gone up in odds
and if he wasnt the one you liked in the entry you would have time to change your ticket.
