I just checked their bios and Ramon and John are both born on November 24th with Ramon being 5 years younger. That is huge for that reason only and I believe he will be bigger than Johnny V if he can stay healthy.
When Johnny retires he maybe the all-time leading money rider. But how far would Ramon be though?

Ramon Dominguez is the best TURF rider in the world, case closed. He won over 40% of his turf mounts at the deepest jockey colony(saratoga 2012) in history. The best 2 American turf jocks I've ever seen were Fernando Toro and Jerry Bailey, and Ramon is equal or better than both of them.On dirt,it is a littlke different.Ramon's patient style,taylor-made for turf, and endearing to owners because Ramon's mounts never come back the worse for ware,is not as suitable as Johnny Vs or Javy's style.2 year-old races, where early speed is king,is not Ramon's bag.Although Ramon will win one of the triple crown races eventually,ag,this is not his strong suit. However, his turf riding is BY FAR ,the best I,ve ever seen, and I go back to the mid 70's.No one in America could get that speed rat Little Mike to rate around 2 turns, not to mention THREE turns. That alone should lock up his hall of fame induction.

With the giant purse structure last summer,Saratoga was the Deepest in history. Look at the leading jockeys from around the country. You had: -Californias champ(Rosario) -Kentucky's champ(Leparoux) -Fair Ground's champ(napravnik with over 100 wins) -the top 3 from Gulfstream(Javy,Johnny,Jose L) -Arlingtons previous champ(J Alvarado) -3 current hall of famers(Prado,Kent,Johnnny V) -Jockeys who've won Breeders Cup races that were struggling even to get mounts(A.Garcia,Maragh,E Castro,Corny Velasquez, etc)
No denying S.Cal. circa 1988 was great, but this year's Saratoga was the DEEPEST......

Hogwash! You should restrict that to North America.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.
