When I worked at the Stardust I've seen guys lose hundreds of thousands over the years on bad beats or back door covers. Usually in CFB or March madness. With the internet full of betting info,stats,etc more gamblers are winning large parlays. We always remember the bad beats. About 10 years ago I bet 500 on a bowl game laying 4 pts. We were up by 6 with 25 seconds to go on their 2 yd line. Instead of taking a knee the pour it on coach calls time out.Then he calls then a running play. The RB leaps up in the air ball extended he gets crushed and fumbles straight in the air. A db grabs it and goes 101 yds the other way. I was in Caesars book and was shocked. Not only did they not cover they lost outright. The coach got fired a few days later.

It's not hindsight when I say the Cowboys are not good enough or at least too inconsistant to give any pro team 9 1/2 points. Not even Yuma High School. See my pick where I had the Redskins over the Cowboys last week. Jerry Jones smiled ONE (1) time during that game last night. Home field isn't necessasarily an advantage there, either - or even worse, maybe it really has been worth 3 points!
