On Friday when I came from the track after losing another couple of grand (can be verified by a couple of forum members in here) there was - to my pleasant surprise - an extra Large bucket of Popcorn from Cinemark on my table counter. But it still had that "Free Refill" tag on it.
I axed my wife where'd this come from and why was the free refill tag still on it?
She goes, "Oh, I went to see Twilight and I bought you popcorn on my out because I didn't want any."
I go Thanx and promptly ate the whole bucket in 5 minutes because I was figuratively starving to death. That was Friday about 7pm.
Sunday morning my daughter comes home and axes my wife to go see Twilight again with her. My wife who's addicted to that Twilight love like I am to popcorn and gambling, agrees.
I go, "Oh, take that empty popcorn bucket and refill it for me - the free refill tag is still on it."
My wife goes, "No, you're not supposed to do that - that’s only for the day of the movie."
I go, "Hide it under your jacket - and sneak it in and then refill it for me."
She goes, "No that's against the law" or some nonsense like that.
Needless to say, that empty bucket with the free refill tab on it sits on my kitchen counter and I am very depressed over it.
Question: What's the real rule on Free Popcorn refills?
