ND will be underdog in title game

Postby Fredo » Sun Nov 25, 2012 10:19 am

My prediction is ND would be a 7-10 pt dog to Bama and a 3-4 pt dog to Georgia. I'll be betting ND on the money line and taking the points.

I think you're low on both numbers. Georgia number would be accurate right now in my opinion but if they beat Bama next Saturday it will push the number up to 6. I think Bama is a 12-14 point favorite on the vermin. I believe they'll need a plus 3 turnover ratio to win outright vs either which I could see happening with UGA but not the Tide. Georgia is more likely to be able to expose Alabama's weakness in the secondary with Murray than whoever plays QB for that other team.

I will go postal if the SEC champs lose the national championship this season.

Per Dave Tulley, Vegas bookies have the line set at Bama -6.5 to -8.5 over ND and Georgia -1 over ND on a neutral field.

But like Fredo said, points would be immaterial as ND wins outright versus either. Guaranteed 117%.

Just read that Wynn has Bama at 9 1/2 so Fredo's guess was more accurate than mine. That could change depending on how well Bama plays against UGA next week in the real national championship game.

Bob B. you know I usually agree with on occasion with your fairly accurate opinions. My suggestion to you is call your local police station and have them deploy the swat team to your front yard the night of the BCS championship game..I'm sure I'll see you on the news that night being dragged out delirious singing this song.

If the national championship game goes wrong, I'm sending the satellite coordinates to South Bend, Indiana to Ahmadinejad.

I am Mike.

I think your Georgia Bulldogs are the best team in the nation. Will be rooting for your boys vs 'Bama, and again if they play Notre Dame..

Thanks Joel. We seem to be in the minority according to all the pundits on sports radio.

Not surprised by JB's inflammatory comments re:ND. He threw me under the bus in the Stauffer thread just cause I said I don't like ANY sports announcers who scream like they are on fire. Then I've come to find out his hate for ND,Mark Twain,Chicago, all farmers thru out our great nation. Anyone who ever worked for a steel mill or american auto plant in the midwest. Must be difficult to live in this great land and hate it so much. My guess is the show Homeland is based on his life story.God bless you
