day in and day out as I have been. He's just horrible! It's as simple as that. There was a reason that Joel Rosario kept
kicking his arse out here meeting after meeting. Dominguez, Velasquez, Rosario, Castellano, Gomez and others are
more talented and have better game plans in place to win races than Bejarano. It appears Bejarano doesn't have any kind
of trip planned ahead of time and hesitates too often during the race for my taste.

Hollywood Mike we have always agreed on jocks. This time I have to disagree with you. Bejarano is a top 5 rider in the country no doubt about it. When trainers talk about Bejarano they say his strength is that he always has a plan set out for every race.

When you say Rosario kick his butt all the the time-not so quick. I remember 4 meetings where Rosario won the jocks title that Bejarano would have won for the following reasons. I don't remember the exact meets

1) Bejarano was winning he meet and got hurt, also put him behind in the next meet

2) Bejarano was winning the meet and was suspended for like 5-7 days.

3) Bejarano lost close meets but rode out of town quite a but more than Rosario did in meets.

Bejarano is the best rider out west bar none. He always rides his horses out like no other rider does in So Cal. I believe there is a reason why the late great Frankel hand picked him to come out to So Cal to ride.

I would like to see Bejarano go east like Rosario and compete against the best.Especially now that Baffert has kicked him to the curb for no reason like he has every other rider

Sharp Post. I remember them actually. Great that you brought that up and always thought that some of them Rosario had to earn them the easy way since Bejarano was either injured or suespended and out of town for reasons.

Groupie Doll - loser at 4/5

Keep betting those horses on top.....

Pat

No need to get a bee in your bonnet. I happen to agree with you. I simply said don't tell that to Shackleford.

Run to Fredo's house and the two of you run around the block a few times.

I agreed wholeheartedly with Baffert to try different riders as Bejarano has gone stale with him. I trust the Hall of Famer's
opinion over anyone here. It was a no brainer.

There are a lot of grade 1's that in an isolated year are marginal grade 2's and this year's Grade 1 Breeders Cup Filly and Mare Sprint, irregardless of the purse, is a case in point. I didn't like Groupie Doll, in the Cigar Mile, because she was running against tougher horses at a distance she probably doesn't favor not because she was coming out of a glorified Grade 2. You could have cited horses like Precisionist (bounced in the Vernon Underwood) or Officer (couldn't win the Cal Cup Juvenile) as bet against types coming out of the Breeder's Cup. I think Groupie Doll is a poor example. If you bet against her, you made out fine but not necessarily for the right reason. Right or wrong, the tickets on Stay Thirsty cashed just the same.

Maybe Mike Smith will be more agressive.

I saw Precisionist run MANY times out here in the mid-80's. He would have SMOKED this group in the Cigar Mile.

No comparison.

Point is, Groupie Doll lost (and I've always said that horses coming out of BC events are play-againsts next out)/ Precisionist is 10 lengths faster than Groupie Doll (and that was on Groupie Doll's best day).

I remember multiple tickets while Rosario went by Bejarano with ease in the stretch out west. Happened too often to count.

No just Joel. Bejarano would struggle back east getting mounts at Gulfstream Park.
