Well, I have been watching this guy for some time now back to Delaware. The past 4-5 years I have really watched him closely. I have been meaning to to put up hyberpolies here. I keep waiting for a moment for me to push all in. I am ready now
He is the best rider I have ever seen. Yes, I am only 38 years and I have been a fan since I was 18, a full time bettor in this game since 23. I make a heck of a living betting this beautiful sport. So for the Shomakers and Acaros, Pincay I didn't get to see.
He is better than McCarron,Stevens,Delahoussaye, Desormeaux,Smith, Gomez,Day when their all were on the runs.
He dominates the deepest jockey colony in the country.
He doesn't ride first call for any super trainer ( This and the reason above is why I put him ahead of Bailey)
He is always in the right place
He hands are amazing but he can ride with tremendous strength as well.
He rides with a silky smooth temple, like Mozart playing the piano

Sharp Post.
Ramon's ride on Overanalyze in the Remsen was great. Never gave up on that one and cameback.

I think he's the next Laffit Pincay Jr. and modern-day version of him too.

Pincay rode with Hall-of-Famers in the jockey room (Shoe, Cordero, Jorge Velasquez, Cauthen, McCarron, Hawley, Stevens, Delahoussaye, Desormeaux) - let alone great riders in Patrick Valenzuela, Pierce, Toro and McHargue . There was only ONE Laffit Pincay. Ramon couldn't carry Pincay's jockstrap.

How many BC Classic, Triple Crown and Dubai World Cup wins does your hero have versus these stalwarts? Yeah - I thought so.

Good points but his ride today on Overanalyze was amazing. Of course comparisons. All Ramon has to deal with is hall of famer John Velazquez.

Please read my post more carefully. I never saw pincay in his prime. I watched him when he was down (which wasn't pretty at all) and during his resurrection. I watched him when he rode awesome in his resurrection. I can tell you he made more mistakes in 2 weeks than I have seen Ramon make in a year during his resurrection. Your comparison to riding against hall of fame riders is ridiculous at this point. That's like saying Elways was better than Brady because he played against more hall of famers- uh yeah because their still playing. We have no idea how many Hall of Famers will come out of Ramons era He is competing against hall of famers Johhn V, Desormeaux, and possible future hall of Famers in Albarado, Borel, Castellano, Lezcano, Rosario,Prado,Alvarado,Maragh,Leparoux, Napravnik,Ortiz, Junior, Cornelio Velasquez and younger riders still to make their name. We will see in 10-15 years where all these riders career path ends. We have no idea how many of these riders will be Hall of Famers or great riders in their career. Many of them are headed in that direction though I am talking about a 4-5 year run against the best competition in this country not riding 1st call for any super trainer(huge plus for Ramon when comparing other great rider runs), IMO I have not seen better run

So did I and he made more mistakes than Ramon did. Every rider makes them I just don see hardly any from Ramon. I am not talking about all wins. I have been more impressed by many Ramon rides that didn't win. I am talking about putting his horse in the right spot to give them a chance to win.

ALL jocks made mistakes. Ramon does too and no one's perfect. That still doesn't mess the good or great riders' legacy or legacies.
