I can most certainly tell that to the 2 BC participants that BOTH finished out of the money in the Delta Jackpot last Saturday (including BC Juvy Sprint winner Hightail) and Gantry (who was defeated in the feature race on opening day at Fair Grounds).

Historically, the list goes on and on.........and on.

Ok. Tell away. But don't tell it to Shackleford.

I don't find nothing wrong with the ride. I can't believe people are criticizing Rafael Bejarano for his ride. He is a great rider but the horse wasn't the best horse in there. Some said that he's too overhyped or overrated.

Then, you think Joel Rosario was always riding around in circles with Raffy?? Um no not all the time!! But joel always got the better than Raffy but Raffy would find away to win too. Plus Bejarano is much better rider than Rosario and more experienced too!! The main reason why Rosario was winning because he's younger than him. I like Rosario and respect his riding style but I just always prefer more patient riders though and do like his aggressiveness and speed too as strong finisher too but I just like Bejarano's style more.

Plus the only ones better than Bejarano is Dominguez, Velazquez and that's all!!

but I have to say IMO look at his 2005 breeders cup filly and mare turf ride on intercontinental, that was a masterpiece having the horse lone speed and the horse had never gone that long before and it won lone speed. That was when his name was starting to be out there as he was dominating the races in KY (churchill downs and keeneland) before coming here to Southern California.

You can't let the jockeys run the asylum, remember Bobby Frankel, being really PO at the jocks, Baffert knows a lot more about what horses should run huge than the public, think i side with Bob, RB seems to throw clunkers in some races, i question his integrity, motive, it smells a foul odour.

day in and day out as I have been. He's just horrible! It's as simple as that. There was a reason that Joel Rosario kept
kicking his arse out here meeting after meeting. Dominguez, Velasquez, Rosario, Castellano, Gomez and others are
more talented and have better game plans in place to win races than Bejarano. It appears Bejarano doesn't have any kind
of trip planned ahead of time and hesitates too often during the race for my taste.

Hollywood Mike we have always agreed on jocks. This time I have to disagree with you. Bejarano is a top 5 rider in the country no doubt about it. When trainers talk about Bejarano they say his strength is that he always has a plan set out for every race.

When you say Rosario kick his butt all the the time-not so quick. I remember 4 meetings where Rosario won the jocks title that Bejarano would have won for the following reasons. I don't remember the exact meets

1) Bejarano was winning he meet and got hurt, also put him behind in the next meet

2) Bejarano was winning the meet and was suspended for like 5-7 days.

3) Bejarano lost close meets but rode out of town quite a but more than Rosario did in meets.

Bejarano is the best rider out west bar none. He always rides his horses out like no other rider does in So Cal. I believe there is a reason why the late great Frankel hand picked him to come out to So Cal to ride.

I would like to see Bejarano go east like Rosario and compete against the best.Especially now that Baffert has kicked him to the curb for no reason like he has every other rider
