The whole idea of civil service unions creates so many conflicts of interest and such an incestuous relationship that fairness is not possible. Sarcasm:the ability to insult idiots without them realizing it
Re: Twinkies?Went to Staters Bros last night, everything was sold out. I found out, they made the donuts for them. They also was all gone.

You were lucky. Eating the Hostess products with all of that sugar and artificial ingredients certainly can't be the healthiest thing to do. Sarcasm:the ability to insult idiots without them realizing it

Re: Twinkies?
Our Post Office has reached it's borrowing limit (of $15 Billion), can now only borrow from the Government. Shows another Union problem - in good times the unions vote themselves great retirement plans with forever health care. Now the post office is on a downward trend with no up in sight and there's not enough workers pouring money into the funds for all the prior workers who are retired AND sustain their own benefits AND show a profit for the corp. Unions were never 'designed' for civil service workers, but governments thought they should be seen as the perfect ideal workplace. Of course they immediately passed laws not allowing strikes on themselves, etc. A mess. Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

Re: Twinkies?
You don't have to accept the fact, but it's the truth. Maybe you see workers the way China sees it's workers as a commodity, like cattle. In every successful company, employee's "personal investment" of loyalty and labor has been the main reason for success. Maybe with this new idea of treating labor as a commodity, we're seeing more and more businesses that were always successful, become unsuccessful.

Troubled years are in our rear view mirror, I think.
