is going to train him up to the BC Turf Sprint on works alone and Talamo has the mount.

Leparoux also rode Camp Victory in last year's BC Turf Sprint.

Don't like any of the California horses in that BC Turf Sprint except for Flag if he's ready. You need to be a course
specialist to have a chance of winning and Flag is that. It's Flag or the Euro contingency. I can't see anyone else.

I wish Shirreffs would consider running Mr. Commons down the hill in the BC Turf Sprint...He has been hanging all year going a mile, that late surge just isn't there. His one effort when he broke his maiden down the hill was breathtaking, he is a miler shortening up which has always been a great angle, and there should be plenty of speed for him to run at...

That's an interesting take. I wonder if it could happen. The horse is one for one down the hill. Post position is huge for this horse in the mile. I would consider him a contender in either.

The horse is probably better this year than last year.

Gone off to a good start to the Hollywood Park Fall meet. He's got 2 wins. Today, he won the Sharp Cat Stakes on a Tom Proctor runner named Midnight Ballet.

It wasn't the jock that put Midnight Ballet in the winners circle. Watch the replay.......hoss would have tugged Joy Scott to the finish line in front (trust me, I hammered the winner).

Give Him a chance Pathagan. It'll take him to get him to get to know the connections here and to get use to Hollywood Park. I don't think he'll do great at Hollywood but expect him to be a factor at Santa Anita.

I felt this way about Joel Rosario in NY but proved me wrong. So I think Leparoux will be fine here. He'll blend in good with Joe Talamo and Garrett Gomez. I don't know if he'll ever leading rider like Rafael Bejarano though.
