Certainly the running of WISE DAN in course record time has to be an barometer of the quality of the field. So just whatever some discounters might present to denegrate the event, the facts are evident that this was a bevy of equine competition of the elite in horseracing. If you find the BREEDERS CUP not living up to your estimate of great horse racing, never mind the bellyaching, tell us what is better.
I will be there in 2013 as well and expect another great day of racing, and a great venue in great weather with the best racehorse, 2012 BC seemed to me to present all those parameters to the enjoyment of those there, The naysayes can provide their EXCITING ALTERNATIVES,,,

Agree.
The only thing better than watching the best horses (active) in the world practice and then run a few days later is driving to 24 Hour Fitness at 3:37am in the morning.
As usual this BC lived up to expectations and then some.
As long as I am alive, and even afterwards, I will never miss attending the BC in person....knock on wood.
