It all started downhill when Jimmy recommended Verge to . What a joke the autumn meet was!!!!

Don't even get me started on that hump.JHC.Last time I saw him he was lighting cigarettes for rich 80 yr old women who had enough lipstick on to be in a clown car.

Have to agree with you Mike, that Autumn meet probably was the biggest joke I have seen in 20 years. I thought the Winter/Spring meet was good, so I thought there might be some follow through. I am not sure were it went wrong, I guess for me it started with the names of the stakes races. When you would hear trainers talk about races they were pointing for as BC preps, not one I heard talk could even come up with the name of the race that was a week away. From there the 8,000 people on Cal Cup/Bobblehead day, but by then it already seemed like the meet was in a nosedive. But to be optimistic, I think the BC show was very good, hopefully someone can build on that for Dec 26th.

It seems to me that SA doesn't care much about the autumn meet. Purses are low, little to no marketing and the stakes names were just :roll:

I really am starting to wonder how much longer they will operate their own fall meet, have heard that financial status is not good.

Hmm......maybe they should bring back these Oak Tree people. I hear they did a bang up job.
