It's that time of year. Back one hour, today.

Waiting for Vince to wander in and remind everyone that they need to turn their clocks forward.

No. We're Arizona and we're above all that. Nobody, and I mean nobody tells us we have to set our clocks back or forward. Setting clocks back or forward is for the rest of the world. We're Mavericks here don't you know.

I vote for AZ as the smartest state in the union.

Let's just set the time one way or another and leave it alone. It's fine just the way it is right now.

It's funny. At least 17 people texed me to spring back or whatever it's called.

I forgot to.

Woke up this morning at 2:47am and went to gym to swim. No one there. Couldn't figure it out. Then I remembered.

Duh!

A liberal like you would say that!!!??? It saves energy supposedly. Az's sunlight is just a bit warmer than others, so they don't want it hanging about.

Wait'll I tell Greenpeace on you!
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

Um, I was one of the seventeen -- and guess what I didn't do Saturday night? My happy butt was up with the birds on Sunday getting ready for Clocker's followed by breakfast with Vince, Triple Threat, AC, Syncopate, JB2, et al.

About an hour into my day & WELL into my pot of coffee I noticed that my cell phone showed 5:30am. NICEY!!!!!

And WTF? Could it have been a little hotter in Arcadia yesterday???? That didn't help AT ALL!

I know you're being kind by writing that AZ is the smartest state in the union, but I must respectfully and strongly disagree. If you have never heard our state's Executive leader, you might want to google a speech or two of hers. Close your eyes while listening and you get the sense that she was raised by Mammy and Pappy Yokum. She has so mastered the art of butchering the english language, that you have to wonder if, in some way, she's created a totally new language.

Our schools are at or near the bottom of the 50 states in the category of quality education. I think we're neck and neck with Mississippi.

We're Mavericks, in Arizona. And as we like to say, "It don't take no brains to know that being a Maverick is a good thing!"

I'd move to Culeyfornia, but the Dodgers are still there, so I stay here.

Or maybe she spent too much time in Texas.
