This isn't sounding like one of those "non-event" things. I'm scared for everyone back east in its path.

I'm near Philadelphia, so I guess you could say I'm in the path.

Right now there is a little rain with slight wind gusts. All racing canceled in the east coast region, but ParX is open for simulcasting and the PA casinos are open for business.

Sunday morning we went to the super market to get some last minute items for our birthday party for our 2-year-old cutie pie little grandson. People are nuts is all I can say, the parking lot was full, shopping carts moving at race car speeds as the idiot shoppers race up and down each row. What is wrong with people? Do they lose all sense of common decency and manners.

I parked my car under the biggest oldest tree, I have insurance, isn't that what it's for.

Birthday party was a hit and everyone had fun and a full belly...LOL

Funny how the casinos will always be open. Hearing that Atlantic City is starting to have flooding problems.

Stay safe!

I'm wondering how the tracks & horse farms are going to able to keep all the horses safe. Or will it be every man for himself and animals be darned?

Thanks for thinking about us PS! Noon ET report: light to moderate rain, winds just starting to pick up. Nothing yet that would even my hat off, certainly nothing to harm a person or horse. At dawn this morning it was strange - no wind at all at ground level or even in the trees, but you could hear the wind way up high whistling away.....

i'm 6 hrs west of PHA in pittsburgh. this area will get rain and much wind. the mountains of Allegheny will kinda force the storm north. some of the local towns outside the city are low and the worry is creeks will flood the towns like 2004 when IVAN came and caused much flooding and damange.
