Lea The Punisher didn't hit the top 3. So we lost with our Pick of the Day.

Unaccountable came in 1st. It paid $8.10 to win, $4.40 to place and $3.40 to show. We won $15.90 and made a $9.90 profit. Finally won and this was our first winner of the Belmont meet.

Bellamy Brew came in 3rd. It paid $2.30 and that’s how much we won and lost -$3.70.

Rangey go scratched. So we don't have no Pick of the Day.

Wy don't you bet more to place than to win?
You know very closely what your win payoff will be, and you know that 99.7% of the time the place payoff will be less than the win (same logic for show bets),
so why not bet more for place? If you think your pick will most likely finish 2nd but bet to win 'just in case', stop it! ;) Just load-up on the place bet. If you think your pick is going to most likely win... well that's your call, I have no problem betting to place, some people hate it, but you should double your place bet or even 3 times the win bet. Field size will have an effect on how much you bet in the place and show spots also. With 6 or less horses you shouldn't even bet anythibg but win, unless you have a dead crab.

Your 10% win stat and 60% ITM stat calls out for a review of your betting.

Good hunting!
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

I like to do what I like to do. I like to do across the board wagers.
