Goof, I just got the feeling, if HP promotes full fields, like Del Mar did, they will have a very good meet, short fields, it's all over baby.

Lester, talked to someone in the know at Hollywood Park and they are going to do a fabulous promotion opening weekend. Word is they are going to have the neighborhood hero's from yesterday's bank robbery drive around the track throwing money out the window for all fan's in attendance. The sticking point from what I heard is if they are going to throw cash or voucher's out the window.

BHP has to do something. It's been a mausoleum there, especially during weekday cards. I'm not in marketing but
the powers to be there need to come up with something to draw more fans.

Not going to help weekdays, but my suggestions are:

1) Free Admission.
2) $1.00 12 Oz Beers.
3) Free Program.
4) Cut prices on all food 50% across the board.
5) On track rewards program with a decent rebate on wagers.

Save some $$$ by not having any parking attendants or fees. Parking for 40,000, 4,000 will show up and should be able to figure out where to park.
