Candy Ride would have jerked Franklestein's head off in a match race. I seen Candy Ride in person at Del Mar.Probably the greatest horse to look through a bridle and goggles.

That was a day for the ages. Witnessing the glorified allowance horse CR beating up on 2 shippers from Turf Paradise and also Magilla Del Oro who was washed up by then who never won anything over a one mile race.We also saw Pval taking JKrone to school in a match race.Plus we have those wonderful option B seats " Pretend your on the surface of the sun aka Cafe Red Hot forehead Del Sol. I couldn't find my road dog Scorequick. I happen to go under the grandstand and he had 2 security guards over him wiping his brow and giving him a I V of ice water. Thank God there was enough beer in the tapper at the bar,Shoulda,Woulda,Coulda. I had to win 181.00 just to pay off my bar tab. I do have a picture of WG in his lightweight pleather jacket bragging about his 6.00 to show on Candy Ride. Too bad the old chat crew went the way of the Dojo bird. Some of those mooks are pretty funny and enjoyable to be around.

I'm surprised too. I now enjoy having a few Apple devices. I actually did not get a data plan for the phone which was my main goal.
