a big reason cal doesnt get the betting dollar from the east is because of the time difference. all the east coast races are over before the 5th race in california and most people have already n the wad. seems to me the early start times of east coast racing takes away handle at west coast tracks because before the 1st race is ran in cal people in the west have already been able to lose money on east coast races.

This is fact, there are thousand o TB Horses here in California, they just don't quality to run at these levels or for the high purses.
