Horror Movie Exception

Postby Vince P » Fri Apr 13, 2012 10:59 am

Normally I stay away from scary movies because every time I take a broad they start grabbing me and stuff and I miss 77% the movie keeping them off me.

But this one caught me eyes and doesn't sound too dumb - I think I might like it.

Youz?

It looks pretty interesting. Maybe on DVD. Does anybody actually go to the theatre anymore?

Best horror movie I ever saw was 30 Days of Night about the vampires in Barrow, AK that are always around when the sun doesn't come up for 30 days. Cool premise and lots of vampire attacks.

Has anyone ever seen movies in the Saw series? What did you think? Looks like it might be a little too intense for me.

These Vampire movies nowadays sorta turn me on.

Serious Question:

Would you ever let a sexy female vamp attack you, do some yada, yada, yada on you, but then you become a vampire yourself and have to deal with all the vampire racial prejudices and love?

You think it's worth it?

I do depending on the vampire. Why not?

Evidently Marv Albert thought he was a vampire back in 1997.

Saw American Reunion last night, just ok, really liked the first two and there was some funny stuff in this one but could wait for video. Best part of the night was the trailer for a Mark Wahlberg movie called Ted. I figuratively was crying from laughing so hard during the trailer, can't wait for this movie.

Here is the cleaner version trailer that I saw at the movies. Youtube has an adults only trailer as well.

Something to think about:

http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/783 ... ck-mailbag

Q: Zombies may or may not poop. But one thing I'm certain of is that vampires don't have sex. That is, at the very least, vampires from Twilight shouldn't be able to. I say this because it explicitly says in the book that vampires don't have blood (uhhh, I overheard a group of teenage girls talking about this). No blood, no erection. No erection, no sex. And yet, Robert Pattinson both has sex with, and impregnates Kristen Stewart in the fourth installment of the series. Indeed, Robert may be the first man in history to reproduce without ever having had an erection. I am a male in college, and yes, I realize that it is pathetic that I have spent enough time thinking about twilight to be bothered by this.

So the Twilight vampire lives forever, and instead of accumulating a vast knowledge of mankind and mankind's world and doing something useful, he just keeps going back to high school where he can dupe young girls into bed. Wow - what a useful creature.

And while I'm at it, so in I Am Legend the Will Smith character lived on Manhatten Island for FIVE (5) years with his dog, studying and battling the Darkseekers. Within 24 hours of meeting a woman, she leads the Darkseekers to his house, he gives the woman the serum that may save the world and then has to kill himself where she can survive. Is that about it?

And another thing... I was purusing an art book and there is a painting of Adam and Eve, and they have belly buttons. How can that be? Take all the time you need to think about that and explain it to me if you don't mind.

OK, last thing: Technically... wouldn't Jesus be a Zombie? Just askin'....
