Don't think he's going to be back. Didn't take well to his "vacation" and demanded to have all of his information removed permanently from the DMTC database in a series of intemperate PMs and emails.
I hate it when I don't forward chain letter and I die the next day!

Nice call CK. Did you notice that Dullahan ran against Optimizer a few months ago and beat him by a length or something when they were both on their game? Since then, both horses have grown up and are much better I think. What is your opinion of Dullahan - an Even the Score/Mining My Own (Smart Strike) colt? I think Dullahan is related a bit to Optimizer via Smart Strike. Vince P

pedigree; 1st dam by ap indy has produced a multiple g1 winning steeplechase horse named humdinger. who has absolutely blazed 3 miles in 6:34 (LOL) 2nd dam a g1 winner going a mile and an 8th on dirt who has produced two g1 winners including another horse who won going 3 miles. 3rd dam a g1 winner who has produced 3 grade 1 winners going long on dirt 4th dam a g1 winner going a mile and a quarter on dirt who has produced 2 g1 winners on dirt
these 4 dams are also the mothers of dams who have produced at least 20 g1 stakes winners going long on dirt.
when hansen throws in the towel at the 8th pole and union rags takes over, then he stops at the 16th pole, optimizer will run right past him and win the derby by 3 easy lengths. i tried to bet optimizer to win the triple crown but couldnt find a bet.

mostly i want to thank him for the pedigee lesson he taught me, and i also would like to take this opportunity to thank keyn for the bottle of blantons (NOT) every day i have searched everywhere for any information i can find on the internet about optimizer, and all i could find were these so called experts saying he is bred for grass, they all need to go to thoroughbred horse racing pedigree school. the only reason DWL ran him on grass in the 1st place was because he couldnt find any races long enough on dirt.

vince thats the race when i said self, that horse what just ran 3rd in that poly race is the next kentucky derby winner. optimizer was just getting warmed up when the horses hit the wire that day. i dont expect optimizer to win the arkansas derby its only a mile and an 8th and thats to short for him...optimizer=alysheba

Did I tell y'all about CK or what?
It's Crazykid's world. We just live in it.
So I while back I took Optimizer at 38-1 (which actually wasn't very good odds, but that's a different story). Then Optimizer falls off the face of the earth and I thought the bet was doomed.
Looks like we are back in play again.
Also got some of that sweet place and show payoff on Double Rah Rah and Optimizer this past Saturday.
I'm seriously thinking about buying CK that bottle of Blanton's that Keyn owes him.

i bet optimizer in the future at 125to1, tried to bet him to win the triple crown but couldnt find a bet. then after he ran 9th in the risen star he went up to 175to1, wanted to bet him again at that price but couldnt figure out a way to do it. times have been tough being out of work, normally i would have about $200.00 on him at the 125to1 but only ended up with $60.00, after he wins the derby im gonna catch a flight to vegas to watch him win the preakness gonna let the whole $7,560.00 ride in the preakness (not really) but if he wins the derby im gonna have a nice vegas vacation.

Tough call on the quality in the Rebel. Moderate fractions that grew more moderate with the leaders falling apart at 26.25 and 6.88. Only Optimizer and Najjaar had anything left as each closed 6 lengths. 1:44 and 2. A second faster than the 3 year old MSW race before. A second slower than the older girls.
Turf horses can do well at CD on the dirt as we've seen with Barbaro, Animal Kingdom so forth.

Six weeks to go before we go head and pop the champagne. One race doesn't make a Derby horse. I'm excited to see some new colts emerge to make the puzzle even harder. With 20 colts every year you better have a great trip. I don't how great you are ie: Afleet Alex or Point Given you better have some racing luck to go with your trip.If Shackleford hangs on and wins the Derby I hit the 1.00 P4 twice. It's still a calculated crap shoot imho.

Crazykid DID encourage me to buy into Optimizer at 175-1 (I have $10 @ 100-1) but I'm too cheap. Glad I saved that $20, now I can go to Wendy's and biggie size everything.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.
