he wopn a huge bet through south american books and they couldnt pay him. he wont bet at the window or through tvg etc.. because any horse he bets will be 1to9. had he bet hansen at the track on bc day he would have been the dead favorite.less than even money. he bet $250k on one of his $4k claimers and the horse ran dead azz last, so he took all his horses from the trainer.never seen anything like him. he claims horses for $2,500.00 and then bets $100k on them.

I was at ParX Casino yesterday and while we were eating an early dinner it was nearing post time for the Gotham. I told the girlfriend the story about the coloring of the horse and officials wouldn't let them paint the horse's mane and tail...GF said.......no way...that would be soooooooo cool and get people interested in the horse.

hey pooch whats that area like around the(parx) race track? how expensive is it to live there?

I'd say the area around ParX is middle class to above average lower class.

I live on the Jersey side and pay $1,200 for a 2-bed room 1 bath apartment...I'd think it would go for 1,000 in PA. Street Road is a mess....just about every night on the evening news they have stories about crime and/or car accidents. Every imaginable restaurant is located on Street Road and their must be a dozen different banks.

Just my opinion ... OK area to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. There most likely are safer areas within a 20 minute drive.
