I am saying that you are getting ripped in this thread about Handicapping 101 by a fella who posted that unclo mo won the kentucky derby.

That is quite funny.

Made me chuckle anyway.

breeding 101, the female family is 10x more important than who the sire is.

I bet the winner ATB and Aly's Alley ATB and didn't bet the exacta. What a dim-bulb I am.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

2nd dam by mr.prospector who is a g1 winner on dirt and has produced a g1 winner on dirt

under the 1st 3 dams you will find at least 20 dirt stakes winners

This is such a joke. Optimizer is by ENGLISH CHANNEL, a horse that never started on dirt, despite being in Todd Pletcher's care. You talk about how the damside is so much more important pedigree-wise, yet use the sires to back up your frivolous argument.

More importantly, Optimizer is trained by Wayne Lukas, who is not interested in turf horses, yet started him on turf. That speaks to his dirt ability.

Optimizer's dam and 2nd dam have produced more steeplechase winners than route winners. His pedigree is so ridiculously turf heavy it's not even funny. The best racehorse from his 2nd dam was Finder's Fee, who was a one-run sprinter owned by the Phipps.

It's one thing for you to have strong opinions. It's another to actually try to back them up with facts.

I'm not even going to touch that you keep touting Double Rah Rah, who is now 0-3 and recently lost for the 2nd straight time after setting a soft pace, this time to a horse coming out of a 25k claimer.

He's by English Channel, not Smart Strike as NTamm has already pointed out. Where do you get your info? I have liked your posts CK but please
get the facts right. English Channel never ran on dirt or synthetics. Was strictly a turf horse as I think Optimizer is. His grand sire is Smart
Strike who has been an excellent producer in the breeding sheds. English Channel's dam sire is Theatrical (strictly a grass runner).

With A. P. Indy and Smart Strike as his granddaddys you wouldn't think running on dirt shouldn't be a problem.
The goal is, can the horse get 10f, peaking in early May.
Like Wayne says, treat them all like champions, and let them disappoint you.

The problem is that DWL hasn't gotten the word that Eugene Klein, William Young, and Bob Lewis have unfortunately passed away. His cash cows
are gone.

will he run to that? no one could tell this early on. no other 3 year old has the g1 dirt female family that he has

His sire never ran on anything but grass and his great grand dam' sire is Theatrical. That has GRASS written over it.
