Didn't disgrace herself? then what do you call running dead last, an accomplishment? Get real. You made a big deal over a mare who was overmatched in race full of better horses. And if you think Al Instante had a better trip, watch the replay again. Had as much of a horrible break and trip as that donkey AJW..

After a boat race the race before the AJW race was clearly for the horseman and trainers. I am sure there were people begging for a favorite to come in to get enough for bus fare home.

She was so strong for Kayla, the outrider needed to help her stop and bring AJW back to be unsaddled. Kayla also told the trainer that the saddle slipped. All in all, not the effort hoped for but it served it's purpose.

No, I'm a rookie when it comes to horse racing. All I ever did was groom horses for Thomas Proctor and Michael Machowsky Here at Santa Anita. So No, I guess I have no clue about horse racing.

Making his first off a last place finish in Dubai nearly eight months ago and his second start in seventeen and a half months, favored MR. GRUFF came back firing for Ellis, taking the Night Mover as best in par rated fashion under Rosario. The classy Mr. Greeley gelding was not quick early to have one beat, uncorked a huge rally to pass the field and take the lead through a rapid second quarter leaving the backstretch, kicked away around the far turn and into the lane, clear midstretch, held sway to the wire. COMPARI, also returning off the bench, moved up to stalk two-deep, gained four-wide leaving the far turn, tried through the drive, second best. He should be set up to stretch out off this. SIROCCO STRIKE tracked the pace inside, bumped with ST LIAMS HALO early on the far turn, came out into the lane, even. ST LIAMS HALO washed out going to the gate, tracked between horses, bumped with ‘STRIKE early on the far turn, clear run in the lane, one paced. AL INSTANTE broke a bit slowly, lacked speed inside, checked leaving the backside, came out behind horses into the far turn, three-deep for the drive, no rally. ASH ZEE, taking on males, stalked inside early then could not keep up down the backside, dropped back to last into the far turn, no good. She did not return to be unsaddled and was vanned off. LT. HOPEFUL, well bet off the Mitchell claim, was quickest early to lead, outrun by the winner leaving the backside, lugged out and dropped back between horses leaving the far turn, faded badly. Comebacking A JEALOUS WOMAN, a mare taking on males off a twenty month layoff going from Spawr to Meza, steadied at the start, pulled hard then checked leaving the chute, passed a couple down the backside, steadied while forced out early on the far turn, well beaten last. She had a rough trip in here, hopefully she will be spotted more judiciously next time.
