Quoting a previous post

Postby ScrapingThePaint » Fri Jul 10, 2009 8:13 am

Hi Mary

Has the icon for quoting a previous message disappeared?

Thanks in advance.
I bet on a horse at ten-to-one. It didn't come in until half-past five.
My horse was so late getting home, he tiptoed into the stable.

I've also noticed that.

At one time there seemed to be a PM button too-

I refreshed the page, cleared the cache, relaunched the browser and restarted the computer. Still no icon.

Wonder what is happening on my side of things? (IE 8.0, Windows Vista) :?

It's not just you. I'm running and don't see the button anymore either.

Sounds like one of those turnabout things. I recently started being able to see them. Now works with both FF and on my Mac. Travis is taking a look at it.

Maybe he could look into to odd behavior of the clock that shows up on the main page when I reload. It'll show some off-the-wall time and the forums icons show up as if there's no new posts.

I then refresh the page and same thing. However, the third time (always the third time) I refresh, the time is now correct and the forum icon are different, indicating there are new posts. Someone else made mention of the time being wrong, so I don't think it only me.

I know I get logged out several times a day. I've set up to be signed in automatically, so when I hit Log In it brings me right back in -- except when it's changed me to "Log Out[Anonymous].

Still a few bugs to work out!

I have at least a partial answer on the time thing. When you aren't logged in, the clock shows Greenwich Mean Time.

I just came back to the page. It said: It is currently Sat Jul 11, 2009 12:07 am

After I logged back in I got: It is currently Fri Jul 10, 2009 4:07 pm which was correct for Del Mar.

You are right. It says I'm not logged in, but after the third refresh, it logs me in automatically.
