Friend or Foe -- the Ignore list

Okay -- it's embarrassing we didn't know this before.

If you want to totally ignore (i.e. never even see) the writings of a poster or posters, you just need to go to your User Control Panel and select the tab marked "Friends and Foes."

Click on "Manage Foes" and enter the username(s) of the member(s) you wish to ignore.

We'd never tried this because we aren't allowed to ignore anyone.

When I first read this I thought to myself, wimps!!! Need a sissy button to push because you don't like a poster, why not just take charge of your own censorship. But then I thought, maybe this isn't such a bad idea. Maybe, with this sissy button, the moderators could open up the forum a little and get back a bit to the old days?? I've been itchin' for a little mano e' mano again with the conservatives. Now if the conversation gets a little to heavy the faint o' heart can always push the button on The Bart.
