I got shut out of the opening day contest race. Is there a published cut-off time before post that selections have to be in?

The published time for the race was 4:42. It wound up not going off until about 4:55. There was a glitch in reopening the race. Shouldn't happen again.

How can the leaders of the contest be at $300 net profit? The winner of the race paid $4.20 to win. If you put your whole $100 on the winner the return would be $210 minus the $100 you wagered would be 110 net profit. So how can the leaders today be at $300 net profit. Am I missing something here?
