Basically she apparently wagered $1 billion over 10 years and came out some millions behind. Saying she won a billion but lost more than a billion is a bit less than straightforward.
I hate it when I don't forward chain letter and I die the next day!

What a joke.

She was mayor of San Diego more than 20 years ago. Not sure how this makes her "the people who run the government."

Once again Mary I agree with you. Reminds me of people always bad mouthing Chicago's mayors and politicians. My beloved city has been squeaky clean since Richard Daley passed away over 40 years ago.

Fredo

As to Daley, yes , he was a great Mayor and knew how to run a city for the people

Heaven help anyone that cross his path to hurt the city.

100 million per year, even Joel could.t do that. I don't think anyone could do that.

I can't fathom putting that much money in and pushing the button 10's million of times without losing your arm or your hand in doing so.

Boy that hurts.

It does seem a bit much if the gambling was limited to video poker. Maybe they have a $1000 machine somewhere?
Maybe they should determine if she was all alone in those years of depression.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

She must have gone through a huge amount of baby wipes to clean her hands after all those slot machine pulls and
touching filthy coins.

Kermit or Mike,

The highest payout I saw on video poker was 100,000 dollars on five dollar machine, one had to play five credits to hit it, That's $25.00 per game, one must hit the royal in sequence or it paid 5 grand.

Tell me this members , has everyone seen a video poker machine in Vegas, Atlantic City with a higher machine ?

I guess the Indians casino may have it, but I don't know.
