It is going to be very hard for a hybrid QB to win a Super Bowl. The main 16 game season will have these guys at 40% when they make it to the big game. I would rather have Andrew Luck rather than RG3 any day.
Mr. Super Bowl

If it is bet, they will take it.

Who says the 40 Whiners were the better team?

The oddsmakers?

You?

Their fans?

Jim Harbough?

The Bay Area media?

Excellent point.

The closest I could think of was Steve Young but that was before you and I were even around.

ME. If they played eachother 10 times San Fran would win 7 out of 10 minimum. Excluding the power going out the Ravens got all of the breaks. Dissapointing that the best team doesnt win the super bowl but its not the 1st time its happened and it certainly wont be the last. Whatever though football season is over onto basketball and coming up soon baseball.

Ravens MADE the breaks go their way. Also looked like they had a copy of SF's offensive game plan.
SF got a bad call in the last 2 minutes on what should have been a holding call on the end zone pass. MOO

Agree with whomever said had the lights not gone out, Baltimore would have won by 50.

They were the MUCH better team..

Joel

Hell no, if SF didn't BLANK up the first half, the score would have been 60 to nothing.

The Ravens simply hit harder than the 49ers and wanted it more.

MIke, I would still go with SF if there was a rematch.

What they did the first half surprised the hell out of everyone. If they scored, just one with a TD, they would have won the game.

Handicapping Perspective:
49ers played Packers and Falcons in the playoffs. Ravens played the Broncos and Patriots (both on the road). Now who played
the better teams going into the Super Bowl???? In horse racing parlance, who was dropping in class????

Really? How do you determine that? Was it the fact that the 49ers gained 100 more yards than the Ravens? Or was it the fact that if not for 1 kickoff return and 1 no-call in the end zone San Francisco would be having a parade today. (one for football that is)
