He looked terrible, skinny and sore in the paddock, Gutierrez hit him about ten times going to the gate, and he looked terrible pulling up...

I saw the same thing Boxx, Dougie is under the microscrope even more, so his "training" methods are little less on the vet side of thing. Horse really isn't that good imo, he needs a break and not more races. They could have a nice older horse next if they don't run him into the ground, but they probably will.

I thought jockey's didn't matter? Maybe the horse isn't very good?[/quote]
Finally a voice of reason in this thread. The horse is the most over-rated piece of trash in this years crop.He had a the best set up on the best rail ever in the BC,and he still couldnt get it done, and the BC is coming back weaker and weaker every weekend(sam davis result). The only rteason he ran 3rd yesterday was because there were only "3 "horses in that race.

And if the Patriots had scored an additional 20 points they would be representing the AFC in the Super Bowl.

oh well i went 9 and 2 against the spread in the playoffs and picked an $82.20 winner on satuday

the horses best two races his maiden win and his 2nd in the bc. he was 15 lengths back and last and made one run. so why would you have the horse go to the front?

I will verify that $82 horse, I bet him ATB. Amazed all the guys I was sitting with. Had him in a P4, too bad that didn't hit.

wow i thought he looked fantastic in the paddock. if you owned a horse who's best two races of his life were from way back 12+ lengths down the backside
in last place. would you be pleased with your trainer/jockey putting that horse on the lead?

I said it after the Cash Maul. HHE is a piece of love. Needs 90 days at the farm to recuperate. Won't be in the Derby.

I am not sure what Gutierrez is doing these days. His ride in the San Antonio was also questionable. Basmati can run a half in 44 and change, why was he side by side with Game On Dude only going 46 and change? In my opinion, he should have run a 44 half and been 10 in front on his way to a track record performance. Not sure what he is doing these days

I can tell you what he's doing lately - winning at an 8% rate.
