Try Saratoga with Del Mar or something like that, i.e. Apples to apples, oranges to oranges.

Well it's also Aqueduct with VLT bloated purses versus non-subsidized purses at SA.

Last year Saratoga averaged 8.44 horses per race, Del Mar 8.4. We don't go two places past the decimal point so I can't say for sure whether we were lower, higher or the same. Certainly close.
I hate it when I don't forward chain letter and I die the next day!

Difference was stakes races run. Saratoga had 30 stakes races in 35 days. Unbelievable!!!!!

Just an observation, it usually hurts field size average.

Saratoga meet is 40 days.
