Thank you CK but I don't need a back up or documentation against haters from Socal who always question you/us and other forumites when we win.People get so jealous in here they only torture you if you lose and never congratulate you when you win.

Betting lines are like wimmin - they fluctuate dramatically, figuratively.

Mary would even agree.

BTW I'm 5-2 in the last 7 Super Bowl's against the spread. 4 of em were dogs, one was a DD dog. All were bet with money line wagers.

not countin the over/under debacle last weekend i am 8 and 2 against the spread in the playoffs so far.
i know better than to fool with those overs/unders. my thinkin was
that san francisco would be able to at least slow atlanta down but the over was done when atlanta scored 24 in the 1st half

i figured the raven pat game would be somethin like 31-28, who coulda ever predicted the ravens shut down the highest scoring team in the nfl to 13 points?

I use to love betting O/U for years.Probably broke even on them up until 4,5 years ago. Then I lost my touch. Since your in Vegas you should take a look at some of the decent odds prop bets.

imo the way to play this game is a two team parlay
tails on the coin flip
ravens +4.5

play for $1.000.00
return $3,600.00

While youz brag about going 5-2 and 8-2, my friend ProRo went 13-0 last week on the games he didn't post in here, so take that.

Not that simple.

Granted if you try this the most you can lose is 5% - maybe even less if you use 5 Dimes' reduced lines, but you have to be very, very careful.

Unless your original plan and gambling history is to Middle all the time and attempt to eke out a small profit in the long run, then you may be shortchanging yourself.

For example, if you love the Ravens like Fredo does, why would you risk losing 5% on a great line (+4.5) that he got, by attempting to middle when your chances are about 20-1 to hit the middle? And yes, I do I realize this is exactly what happened in the 49r/Falcon game last week. I actually posted those line changes.

If I were Fredo and I wagered like $7,700 on BLT +4.5 I might "save" a percentage (25% ???) of that by wagering on the 49rs at now -3.5 while trying to hit both, but I certainly wouldn't bet the whole $7,700 on the 49rs -3.5, especially if I loved the Ravens and had a fix in on the game.

Make sense?

instead just play the money line and take the ravens who will most certainly win the game outright
