I don't think she runs her best unless she has the lead. They walked home.

I think the fast fractions shocked her. Then, maybe as someone pointed out maybe she doesn't do well when she isn't on the lead. The reason why she beat Dawn's Charm for 2nd was because of her determination and of course she didn't see the winner coming.

I'm pretty sure they expected fast fractions and thought she could sit off the fast pace and win anyway. The filly on the lead did all the work and Beholder barely beat her. I think she'll be sent to the lead from now on.

I don't like Beholder or Executive Privilege as far as races like the Kentucky Oaks down the road. CD's surface will
take care of them as well as the distance of that race.

Mandella's training will take care of Beholder.

It seems that mostly all of the horses who benefitted from the GOLDEN RAIL of the Breeders Cup are,not suprisingly ,regressing.Beholder is a nice horse who was GROSSLY overbet due to her bias aided win.Bet against BC rail or speed horses everywhere you find them(Lumber Guy,Beholder,Hes had enough, mucho macho man, fort larned etc...).
