if everything goes well, the Buena Vista is next......after that, she'll let my Pards know what she wants to do.....I think she always has.....can't believe this....what an incredible feeling.....and if she gets that graded status? What a boon for her as a broodmare! We've been talking about possible sires for years.....ever since she started winning....now, I've gotta root for her little sister......to carry the Miss Free Bird banner when Mookie heads to the shed... :D She's the last of that wonderful mares babies....

Congrats! You're living the dream!
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

Horseracing is funny. Maybe not ha ha funny but funny none the less. In a sport associated with so many crooks, low-lifes, despicable KIA's ect... here is a group of really good people. Congrats to grade one people, Rose , Tambo, Lineman, Richard et al....

How is it possible that, at 7 yrs old, she runs her best race? I'm shocked and amazed. Was real fun to watch.

Most people do their best work at 7.

However for Zenyatta it was having a baby, not racing at 7. She retired seven months after her 6th birthday (April 2004) if memory serves correctly.

In any case congratulations to another fine win. You deserve it.

Boy, has she grown up or what? Not you, your horse I meant.

I'm sure you know the feeling, Rick......good luck to my Pards and the Meza's....

it appears as though she should make an easy lead...

Actually she came from slightly off the pace for the 2nd time in a row.

I could be wrong but it always appeared to me that as horses get older, they learn to rate better.

That sorta true?
